REPORT ON HINDI DIWAS
St. George’s School, Alaknanda celebrated Hindi Diwas with great enthusiasm and pride on 14th September 2026. The special assembly was attended by the students of Classes II, IX and XI. The celebration aimed to highlight the importance of Hindi as an integral part of our language, culture and national identity.
The programme focused on creating awareness among students about the value and beauty of the Hindi language. Through the assembly, students were encouraged to respect and take pride in their mother tongue and use the language with dignity.
Respected Principal Ma’am extended her warm wishes to everyone on the occasion of Hindi Diwas. She reminded the students that Hindi is our pride and one of the most widely spoken languages in the world. She emphasized that Hindi is a precious part of India’s identity and encouraged students to respect both their country and its language.
Respected Principal Ma’am also advised the students to be mindful of the words they use and avoid using inappropriate or disrespectful language. She encouraged them to develop a sense of belonging and responsibility towards their country and language and to work towards preserving and protecting it.
She concluded by emphasizing that the true spirit of Hindi Diwas can be experienced when we read Hindi well, listen to it carefully and speak it confidently. Her inspiring words encouraged the students to value Hindi and keep the language alive through their everyday use.
The celebration served as a meaningful reminder that respecting our language is also a way of respecting our nation and its rich cultural heritage.
