REPORT ON SCIENCE EXHIBITION CLASSES IX AND XI

A Science Exhibition for Classes IX and XI was organised at St. George’s School, Alaknanda on 8th September 2026, providing students with an excellent platform to showcase their creativity, scientific understanding and innovative thinking. The exhibition was inaugurated by Respected Principal Ma’am, Ms. Anjali Massey, by cutting the ribbon, marking the beginning of an inspiring celebration of science, innovation and inquiry.
The students of Class IX presented an array of interesting working models, including a Lie Detector, Automatic Plant Watering System, Smart Radar System, Theremin and Air Purifier. These exhibits beautifully demonstrated the practical application of scientific concepts to technology and everyday life, reflecting the students’ curiosity, ingenuity and enthusiasm for learning.
The students of Class XI showcased an impressive range of subject-specific and interdisciplinary projects. The exhibits included Neurotech in Physics; a Mathematical Optimization Model for Sustainable City Planning in Mathematics; Obsidian Password Cracking Website, Nexus Application and SignSteep Application in Computer Science; Eye Defects and OciScreen in Biology; the Mirror Drawing Apparatus and Brain Model in Psychology; and “The Vault of the Unbearable” in Chemistry. Each project reflected the students’ ability to connect classroom learning with real-world applications, transforming scientific knowledge into meaningful and innovative ideas.
Principal Ma’am interacted with the participants and appreciated their confident presentations, creativity and inquiry-based approach to learning. She encouraged the students to continue exploring, questioning and innovating. She also suggested that these models could be used as valuable classroom resources to make learning more practical, interactive and engaging.
The exhibition was a vibrant celebration of curiosity, creativity and scientific inquiry. It provided a glimpse into the immense potential of young minds and demonstrated how imagination, when nurtured by knowledge, can blossom into meaningful innovation. The students’ enthusiastic participation and thoughtful presentations made the event a memorable and enriching experience, reinforcing the spirit of “unchanging values in changing times” through a commitment to learning, exploration and excellence.
