The celebration of major festivals and occasions is part of the co-curricular activities organised at St. George’s School. The oncoming of the Covid-19 pandemic did not dampen the spirits of the students who celebrated with the same fervour, albeit online. Students recorded the entire function under the guidance of the teachers in the safety of their homes. “The synchronised display by students despite being in different homes was noteworthy”, a teacher revealed. So, pandemic-induced lockdown or not, National and religious festivals were celebrated, the ‘New Normal’ way.
