REPORT ON INTER-HOUSE HINDI DRAMATIZATION COMPETITION

St. George’s School, Alaknanda organised an Inter-House Hindi Dramatization Competition for Classes I and II on 1st September 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the young learners, who presented a variety of interesting and moral-based stories revolving around popular cartoon characters like Chota Bheem, Tenali Raman, Krish, etc. The children performed remarkably well, showcasing confidence, expressions, body language and good stage presence. The costumes were attractive and appropriate to the characters, adding colour and appeal to the performances.

Honorable Director Ma’am and Respected Principal Ma’am graced the occasion. Respected Principal Ma’am appreciated the confidence displayed by the children and encouraged them to develop a habit of reading storybooks from the school library. She also appreciated the hard work of the teachers in training and preparing the students. The stories were engaging, age-appropriate and conveyed meaningful moral values. The selected volunteers performed their responsibilities sincerely and contributed effectively to the smooth conduct of the event. The narrators were also well-trained and presented their parts with clarity and confidence. Nehru House secured the First Position, while Tilak and Bose house secured the Second Position.

Overall, the competition was a successful and enriching learning experience for the young participants. The teachers were encouraged to further identify and nurture the potential of each child and provide them with more opportunities to develop stage confidence, understand stage positioning and make effective use of the centre of the stage. The event was a commendable display of teamwork and teacher effort and successfully promoted creativity, confidence, expression, Hindi language skills and moral learning among the children.
