REPORT ON SPORTS DAY FOR CLASSES (I – V)

Excitement electrified the air as cheers and the rhythmic pulse of countless heartbeats echoed across the vibrant field of St. George’s School, Alaknanda on the bright and sunny morning of 11th December, 2025 for the Annual Athletic Meet of the Primary Section.

The Annual Sports Meet burst forth with enthusiastic zeal, turning the school field into a vibrant scene of colourful energy and spirited rivalry. The cheering spectators and lively atmosphere reflected the excitement and readiness of every participant to perform and shine.

The occasion was graced by our Honourable Director ma’am and Respected Principal Ma’am, whose esteemed presence added grace and significance to the event. The event began with the unfurling of the school flag by Respected Principal Ma’am, igniting the flame of competition and festivity.

The enthralling performance by the talented students of classes 4 and 5 marked the opening of this Sports Day extravaganza wherein they showcased a captivating hula-hoop drill. A variety of events kept the excitement soaring throughout the day — from dynamic flat races and joyful fun runs to the powerful standing broad jump and the thrilling relay races. Athletes from all the eight houses displayed remarkable stamina and vigour, sprinting with unwavering determination and leaping with all their might. The fierce yet graceful efforts of each participant mirrored their dedication and passion for excellence.

The Georgeans erupted with enthusiasm, cheering passionately for their houses as athletes displayed remarkable skill and agility throughout the day. The vibrant atmosphere and shared sense of pride turned the Sports Day into more than just a competition — it became a celebration of potential, unity, and the exhilarating joy of pushing one’s limits.
