REPORT ON INTER HOUSE CHRISTMAS DANCE COMPETITION
An Inter-House Christmas Dance Competition was held with great enthusiasm at
St George’s School, Alaknanda on 16th December 2025. The occasion was
graced by Honourable Director Ma’am Dr. Sara George and Respected Principal
Ma’am Mrs. Anjali Massey.
The programme showcased the joy and true spirit of Christmas while providing
students a platform to depict their talent and creativity.
Students from all the houses participated with great zeal and confidence,
beautifully portraying various Christmas-themed props and concepts, including
candy sticks, Christmas ribbons, Christmas balls, Christmas wreaths, Christmas
gift boxes, Christmas candles, Christmas stars, and Christmas pom-poms. Each
performance was marked by vibrant costumes, graceful movements, innovative
formations, and energetic expressions, which kept the audience thoroughly
entertained.
After keen observation and evaluation, the judges declared the Azad House as the
First Prize winner, followed by Tagore House in the Second place, and Shastri
House secured the Third position. All the participants were appreciated for their
hard work, coordination, and impressive stage presence.
Respected Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and motivated the
participants for their commendable performance. She appreciated the creativity,
discipline, and variety of formations presented by the dancers. In her address, she
highlighted the true essence of Christmas, emphasizing values such as gratitude,
compassion, love, and sharing, and encouraged students to follow the teachings
of God in their daily lives. She also took the opportunity to introduce the new
Middle School Supervisor, Mrs Geeta Sharma.
In her address, Supervisor Ma’am encouraged the students and staff to work and
grow together as a united school community.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, marking a joyful and
memorable end to the celebration.
