                               REPORT ON COMMERCE EXHIBITION
St. George’s School, Alaknanda, organised an informative and enlightening Commerce
exhibition on 25 September 2025. The Director, Dr. Sara George, and the Principal, Ms.
Anjali Massey, graced the occasion with their presence. Director Ma’am inaugurated the
exhibition by cutting the ribbon.
Class XI students, with their heads held high, displayed their educational projects, files, and
charts on diverse topics related to Business Studies, Economics, Accountancy, History,
Political Science, Informatics Practices and Psychology. Each team presented its project
using a PowerPoint presentation. Speaking with confidence and clarity, the students left a
lasting impression on Director Ma’am and Principal Ma’am, who interacted with them and
appreciated their excellent work.
The file presentations were followed by two captivating stage performances that vividly
showcased the real-world applications of concepts drawn from commerce and humanities.
The first performance, “Marketing Paradigms”, seamlessly integrated themes from
Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, and Information Practices. Participants led the
audience through a journey across generations of marketing—from the nostalgic charm of
popular Ayurvedic brand Vicco Vajradanti to the influence of today’s digital creators. The
enactment illustrated how generational marketing enables brands to craft messages that align
with the values of each era. With a dynamic blend of dance, music and a PowerPoint
presentation, the performance was both enlightening and entertaining. The creativity and
enthusiasm of the participants kept the audience thoroughly engaged, drawing them into the
spirit of every generation portrayed.
This was followed by a compelling performance by the History and Political Science students,
who staged a thought-provoking skit titled ‘Governance Through the Ages: From Akbar’s
Court to Modern Parliament.’ The presentation highlighted the evolution of political systems,
underscoring the significance of leadership, reforms and administration in shaping societies,
while also emphasizing the growing relevance of artificial intelligence in governance today.
Director Ma’am and Principal Ma’am lauded the participants for their innovation and the
thoughtful integration of all six subjects. The performances concluded with a thunderous
applause, leaving the audience with an informative, enriching and deeply inspiring
experience.
