 REPORT ON INTER-HOUSE ACTION SONG COMPETITION

St. George’s School, Alaknanda organised an Inter-House Action Song Competition for Classes I and II on 24^th September 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the young learners, who presented lively and engaging English songs accompanied by coordinated actions and expressive body movements. The students performed their respective action songs with great zeal and enthusiasm.

Honourable Director Ma’am and Respected Principal Ma’am graced the occasion. Respected Principal Ma’am appreciated the performances and observed that the children’s body movements were clear and well-coordinated and that they demonstrated a good understanding of the lyrics and were able to convey the meaning of what they were singing through their expressions and actions. The colourful and flashy accessories worn by the children added a fancy and attractive element to the performances. Proper training and guidance were provided to the children regarding stage entry, positioning, movements and overall stage presentation, which helped them perform with confidence. She appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and acknowledged the hard work that went into making the performances successful. Gandhi House secured the First Position, while Shastri House secured the Second Position.

Overall, the competition was a joyful and enriching experience for the young participants. It provided the young learners with an enriching opportunity to develop confidence, coordination, rhythm, expression and teamwork. The event also highlighted the dedication and collaborative efforts of the teachers and students, making it a memorable learning experience for all.
