REPORT ON HINDI DIWAS
St. George’s School, Alaknanda, celebrated Hindi Diwas on 18th September,
2025 with great zeal and respect for our national language. Hindi Diwas is
observed to promote the use and importance of Hindi in India, inspiring people
to value, preserve, and take pride in their mother tongue. It not only reflects
India’s rich cultural heritage but also highlights the role of language in shaping
national identity, serving as a unifying bond across diverse regions and
communities.
The programme began with a soulful prayer, followed by the thought of the day.
A thought-provoking speech on the relevance of Hindi was delivered, after
which a melodious song was presented to celebrate the beauty and significance
of the language.
Respected Principal ma’am congratulated and appreciated the students and
teachers for the meaningful celebration. In her address, she emphasized that
Hindi, being our mother tongue, must be learned and spoken with respect. She
urged everyone to avoid using hurtful or abusive words, reminding them that
language should always be a medium of love and harmony.
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, filling the
atmosphere with patriotism and pride.
